Devon Chivvis

Devon Chivvis, Executive Producer and Writer/Director is a visual storyteller who steers the creative direction of WLP’s narrative and non-fiction projects. She is an award-winning filmmaker who crafts the look and feel of every production and who leads the team in the field and in the studio. Her curiosity about different cultures and the natural world influence her artistry no matter where a production may take her. Devon is a Fellow of The Explorers Club and on the Board of Directors serving on the President’s Executive Committee, Ethics and Governance Committee, Conservation Committee and EC 50 Committee. She has filmed in high altitudes, on submarines, and in the Pisces V submersible (now retired Pisces IV and Pisces V team) at depths of over 900 meters. Devon received her MFA in Film and Television Production from the USC Graduate School of Cinematic Arts. Devon’s narrative short film, “Dance With Me” has received international acclaim and distribution, winning the prestigious Ciné Golden Eagle award. In 2010 she was named a “top ten up and coming director” by the Los Angeles County Museum of Arts.
